Visitor information
We are very pleased to welcome you to the museum. In order to protect yourself and others, we ask you to follow the safety instructions of the Federal Office of Public Health and on site.
The most important rules in brief:
- If you have symptoms of illness, please stay at home.
- Keep at least 1.5 meters distance from other people.
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap on a regular basis.
- When coughing and sneezing, keep the crook of your arm in front of your mouth and nose.
- Dispose of used paper tissues, masks etc. safely.
- Participation in events obliges you to provide contact details (first name, last name, phone number, postcode of your place of residence) in order to be able to trace possible chains of infection.
The Cantonal Medical Service may request the contact details if it deems it necessary. Your data will be deleted completely after 14 days.

Ausstellungsstrasse 60, 8005 Zurich In its listed main building on Ausstellungsstrasse, a key work of Swiss modernist architecture, the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich presents the treasures of its internationally renowned collection as well as temporary exhibitions on various themes shaping our everyday visual life.

Zurich main station is within 5 minutes walking distance. Parking spaces in close proximity are available at the parking Hauptbahnhof at Sihlquai.

Toni-Areal
Toni-Areal, Pfingstweidstrasse 96, 8005 Zurich The annex of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is located in Zurich’s thriving, trendy western district. At Toni-Areal, campus of Zurich University of the Arts, changing exhibitions build a bridge to teaching and research, present experimental projects, and take a position in current design debates.
